Debbie, a lovely Mum

I have not only one but many memories of Debbie to fondly look back on. Emma & I have been friends since 5, and lived right round the corner from each other when we were little. I would knock for Emma all the time at Debbie's door, and every time her and David would welcome me into their house. I spent so many days playing there (remember the dogs Millie & Tara), Summer holiday days spent giggling with Debbie, David, Lewis & Owen. I remember Emma and I rushing to go to the sweet shop to spend our 20p pocket money before Debbie would call "Emma! Milk & cookies!" (I may have made that up, it was some kind of food that sounded nice!). Back in the 90s Debbie Emma and I did our fair share of discos - if you listen to Huge Hits 1996 that's pretty much going to be the soundtrack of our dancing together! As I grew up, I came to know Debbie as an adult and friend when she kindly invited me to join the gang for Potter's holidays - I'll look back and laugh with bittersweet tears in my eyes at the ghost stories, the sock puppets, drinking bubbly in the hot tub, funny games we made up to entertain ourselves, and watching the shows together, singing every word. Debbie you were taken far far too soon, and there are literally no words to describe what a wonderful mother, grandmother, friend and wife you were. To me you were a childhood constant and I'll be forever thankful. Rest in peace, all my love, Vicky xxx
